Through this application process, Alaska HOSA Sponsors provide scholarships which are awarded and administered by Alaska HOSA.

Eligibility
Scholarships are available to high school senior Alaska HOSA members who plan to continue
or further their education in the health professions.
The amount and number of scholarships will vary from year to year. Only one application is needed for HOSA members to be considered for HOSA scholarships.
Application Process
- All applications must be typed or word-processed. All Applications must be grammatically correct and complete for acceptance and review by HOSA.
- All scholarship materials including letters of reference and all attachments must be scanned and sent as one Adobe PDF file. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Applications must be received no later than the date designated in the Application for consideration. Late arrivals will not be considered.
- There is no limit to the number of applications per Chapter School or per State Chapter.
- All applications are to be submitted by the student applicant and emailed directly to: Andrea Gelvin, agelvin@gci.net.
The HOSA Scholarship Awards Committee will make final decisions on scholarship awards.
Recipient Awards
Recipients will be announced at the Alaska State HOSA Conference.
Checks for monetary awards will be presented to HOSA members at the Alaska State HOSA Conference. Recipients are not required to attend the Alaska State HOSA Conference in order to receive their award.
If award recipients are not in attendance at the Alaska State HOSA Conference, checks will be mailed to the address provided on the Scholarship Application. Scholarship recipients in attendance will be called on stage to receive their award.
